Administrative Overview

DT Administrator is a suite of tools that give network administrators and training managers total control over the DT3 training environment. The following functions are available:

Bandwidth Usage/Allocation allows the manager to view how many courses are active on the LAN or LAN segment. He or she can also configure the maximum number of simultaneous users on a LAN or network segment.

License Entry provides a central location to enter and update user-licensing information.

Reports can generate three types of reports, based on a single user, department or all users.

Add/Remove Departments helps the training manager organize the training population.

Database Maintenance automatically corrects problems with the student database.

Gives real-time feedback on the number of LAN users currently training

Gives real-time feedback on the number of LAN users within particular LAN segments who are currently training

Gives real-time feedback on the number of users currently within each individual course volume

Allows the administrator to define the number of simultaneous course users allowed on the LAN

Allows the administrator to create/name DT3 LAN segments IDs

Allows the administrator to define the number of simultaneous training users allowed in each LAN segment

License Entry

Allows the manager to:

Enter the number of users they purchased under their license agreement

Enter a corresponding course key-code for their particular license

"Unlock" access for the number of users purchased

Upgrade the license agreement

Reports

Three types of reports can be generated and printed:

For an entire population

For an entire Department

For an individual

Reports contain the following information:

Student name

Student ID

Course name

Overall course status

Total time spent in course

In addition, detailed information about a student's sessions with each individual Segment includes:

Segment number

Segment title

Percent of lesson viewed

Time spent in segment

Last quiz score, date and time

First quiz score, date and time

Number of times quiz taken

Add/Remove Departments

Allows manager to create and remove Department names

Database Maintenance

Damaged student databases can be repaired through automated controls
